Outside my window...my red maple, blazing with golden yellows and crimson shrouded with the fine mist of lasting rain.
I am thinking... I need to pray more for the fruit of the spirit to saturate every facet of my daily life - The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
I am thankful for... the fact that God loves me no matter what.
I am remembering...my grandmothers and how I love setting the table with dishes that once graced their tables.
I am going... to school tomorrow to work with a new student - pray! To PaPa's for our weekly family supper; later in the week perhaps to Canton for First Monday.
I am reading... my Bible.
I am hoping... to make a cake for tomorrow night - before I tutor and go to school in the morning.
On my mind... being an encourager.
From the learning rooms... "C" for candy corn. Also for our verse of the week - Come, let us worship. (the wise men said.)
From the kitchen... goulash, peas, "new" potatoes (from the grocery store) broccoli, and cornbread - Okay - I can't help it - it is the only way I know how to cook. I just wish we would eat fish, stir fry, etc.!
Around the house... working out a tutoring schedule and hopefully a last chance trip to the pumpkin patch - the weather is not cooporating.
One of my favorite things~ beautiful fall days - without so much rain!
It's FALL, Y'ALL!
Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.

I had to laugh at your kitchen comment! I would enjoy a bite from your kitchen just about now :-)
Oh I envy you your fall days with not much rain... we're well into our wet season.
You put up a Christmas tree! I "have" to wait until after Thanksgiving... which is far too late in the year, by my reckoning. I kind of like the Canadian thanksgiving in October... or split the difference :0)
